  • Define and communicate scope and priorities clearly to stakeholders, representing Cloud Engineering within the Tech Leadership team.
  • Set and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) while designing for resilience across networking, DNS, and disaster recovery.
  • Drive automation and “everything-as-code” practices (Terraform, CI/CD, compliance-as-code, runbooks-as-code) to ensure safe, efficient change management.
  • Enhance observability and reliability across workloads to reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
  • Collaborate across Architecture, Security, Development, Data, and Operations to establish guardrails, automate routine maintenance, and share standards.

You’d describe yourself as follows:

  • Inspire colleagues with strong leadership, service orientation, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for reliability.
  • Apply solid cloud networking, DNS, and security fundamentals with real‑world incident experience.
  • Support teams in achieving continuous deployment while balancing cost, capacity, and resilience.
  • Communicate fluently in both English and Dutch, thriving in an international environment with pragmatic solutions.
  • A monthly salary indication between €6.100,- and €8.500,- plus benefits based on a 40-hour week and flexible working hours.
